Line of Duty’s Vicky McClure’s effortless beauty look is one based around glowing skin, accentuated with low-key make-up. So, when WH saw that the actor’s makeup artist Justine Jenkins had shared the star’s favourite products for a fresh complexion with Hello!, we thought it only right to pass them on.

Topline: it turns out that McClure is a major fan of the ultra-effective and dermatologist-founded brand, Murad. From cleansers to toners, masks and SPF, she uses it all.

‘Vicky and I both love using Murad Skincare, it really suits her skin,’ Jenkins revealed. ‘I start by massaging in the Prebiotic 4 in 1 Multicleanser, followed by the Hydrating Toner.

‘An important step is to use a mask; I use Hydra Glow Aqua Peel Mask on Vicky’s skin for 10 minutes, to plump the skin and boost hydration. To prime, I use a layer of [SPF 50] City Skin which shields skin from radiation and pollution.’

While the Hydra Glow Aqua Peel Mask seems to be out of stock right now on most beauty platforms, if you are after a mask treatment, WH can firmly recommend the new Vita-C Triple Exfoliating Facial. As well as upping brightness, it gently smooths skin out, creating a perfect base for applying make-up.
